Intermediate Improv: Scene work
You continue to build on the skills learned in 101 as you progress toward performing HAROLD. Learn how to listen for, and heighten ideas, create 2nd beats, and use simple edits while continuing to create and build objects, environment, clear character relationships, strong points of view, and close ensemble work. Meets once a week for eight weeks.
Prerequisites: PHIT Improv 101 or permission from the Education Director.

Instructor: Emma Needleman
About the Instructor:
Emma has been performing and studying improv for over a decade. She was a member of the PHIT House Teams Metropolis and Hooch and the long-running indie teams HOTLINE and Expo. She also directed the Harold team Whiplash. Emma has performed at festivals and theaters across the east coast, including UCB’s Del Close Marathon, Baltimore Improv Festival, the New York Improv Festival and SteelStacks. She also ran the improv showcase Saturdays With Morrie and has worked extensively as a coach for indie teams.
